Missouri
now has a Net
Metering Law, SB 54, effective Jan 1, 2008.
If you generate more electricity than you need at any given time you can
sell it back to the electric company and reduce your bill. CU is planning to enable this early.

The
League of Women Voters is a non-partisan organization committed to education
and political advocacy of its members and citizens in the local community. The League provides information to voters
about candidates and issues, studies and takes action on issues agreed on by
the membership, and networks with other
local organizations with similar agendas.
The
Springfield-Greene County unit, established in 1951, has positions on a wide range of
issues affecting local citizens, including government structures and
procedures, planning and zoning, parks, environmental quality, education,
health, and law enforcement. The League has recently
completed a comprehensive study of sustainable
development in the Springfield-Greene County region.
